For poor quality reports I’ve been marking “incomplete”.

The idea of “abandoned” is if someone else reports the same issue again
there won’t be any confusion as to why the original issue was closed.
  “Auto close” serves a similar purpose of automatically closing tickets if
there is no action but I’m not comfortable about manually making these
issues as “auto close”.


You also have "a won't do" status.

I agree that having an abandoned status would be good to have though. Feel free to ask INFRA about it, we will see if they are ok for such an addition.
