Hi Kai, I understand your this concern, that is why Mnemonic has the service infrastructure for memory and computing services, in this way, users are able to choose their preferable services e.g. pmalloc for their applications. from mnemonic perspective, It provides flexible/extensible infras. for any possible combination that users want, they, in turn, could build their testcases based on their special combination, Mnemonic would try to avoid any more strict assumptions about memory/computing services.
I agree that we should select a more reliable native service as Mnemonic's default configuration, but for now, it seems we have no better choice than pmalloc/nvml, I hope we can attract more committers to improve/create more memory/computing services for Mnemonic.
