I was looking into content tagging infrastructures that we could use in Moblin and have been leaning toward using trackerd. It is a metadata search engine that indexes media contents, and has the ability to tag/multi-tag content. It uses SQLite so it's pretty lightweight and low memory footprint and provides a D-BUS api along with a C wrapper. What are people's thoughts on using it and concerns?
