Chris, There is absolutely no change in the plans for Moblin or specifically Moblin-IVI. We are continuing to develop and enhance Moblin and Moblin IVI. With LF announcement, we are reiterating our commitment to Open Source and passing the stewardship to LF. The Moblin engineering efforts and IVI in specific are continuing to grow as well.
We released Moblin core alpha in the last few weeks and plan to release Moblin IVI regularly. We will provide more information on Moblin IVI and an update to the Congatec board very soon. We are in the final phases of integration and testing. Please feel free to post to the Moblin mailing list for any specifics. Any what, if any, future involvement will the Intel development team (do they still have jobs?) have with Moblin and IVI? Because right now I am feeling that I made a big mistake pursuing an Intel Atom based IVI system (i.e. "Congatec"), since it now appears that Moblin and IVI are "dead projects", can you tell me why I shouldn't feel that way, and continue to hold out hope for an Intel based IVI system?
