libproxy was squawking about not finding jsapi.h - looks like it was trying to link to xulrunner/stable rather than unstable. Hacked with a quick symlink while it built.

the jhbuild moduleset does not build xulrunner because... well, because
building xulrunner is not something I'd rather do; this implies that
libproxy will depend on what it is installed on your system.

The xulrunner was there as part of a previous moblin build based on beta2. I would have thought it would be okay.

The next problem I'm having I'm not sure how to get around. Building mutter and it's complaining about not finding Clutter-0.9.gir. I didn't find this anywhere in the chroot. Error message below:

Mutter depends on Clutter; Clutter should depend on
gobject-introspection and gir-repository to build the GObject
introspection data, but I've just seen that it doesn't. also, Mutter
does not disable the introspection.

so EBADMODULESET.

pushing it now; if you restart the build you might notice that Clutter
is being built with gobject-introspection as well as Mutter. you might
need to clean up $HOME/.cache/jhbuild first to avoid stale modulesets.

Restart the entire build I assume?

/root/moblin2/install/bin/g-ir-scanner \

ugh, building as root? EBADIDEA.

you should be building as an unprivileged user; the installation prefix
will allow you to never require a privilege escalation.

Yeah but I always build in chroots so I don't really care. In fact, chroots are kind of fun because you can deliberately wreak complete havoc while hacking away and not care a bit. ;-)

cheers,

Kris
