Thx Auke,
I'll post here. if my expectations are in error, i need to be told.
first, i use an SD media as my shuttle between my fc11 development host
and my
moblin running on an EeePC 1000.
i would insert this SD media in the netbook and boot from the usb thumb
drive (i am still saving my xandros partitions until moblin is a bit
more stable).
in my early use, this SD media would be detected on boot and mounted on
/media/disk/..
this is the 'broken issue' i tried to communicate.
i certainly can work around this by doing a manual mkdir /media/disk and
mounting the /dev/sdd1 on it, but!!!
is not the earlier behaviour correct?
i have since labelled this media as moblin so now my fc11 Linux, working
correctly, sees the media
upon insertion and mounts it on /media/moblin/..
comments? thx, jackc...

Hi moblin,
i was wondering how i could follow-up on this defect? its been open
since early June.
i have read several responses from the moblin team indicating a failure
to duplicate,
yet the images release consistently fail to handle this issue (although
it did work before).
whom may i follow up with to take the next step?
i am happy to provide additional information, but its unclear who owns
this defect.
suggestions?
the bug was marked "INVALID RESOLVED" - iow closed.
The comments in the bug report are vague and confusing. What exactly does not
"work as expected"?
hint: describe the steps you took, and the expected outcome, and the real
outcome
of those steps.
you can post back to this list or in the bugreport if you believe the closure is
in error.
Auke
