To be honest, I'm very discouraged with an offer of purchasing codecs.
Please, do not forget, Moblin is still Linux, therefore, there are
millions of people that are playing music and video using freely
available media players. For example, you can look at XBMC -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XBMC - there are easy build instructions
for Moblin: 
http://www.xbmc.org/wiki/?title=HOW-TO_compile_XBMC_for_Linux_on_Moblin_v2
- and I can confirm it's working as a charm for Moblin. Also you can
use mplayer and xmms from Fedora, but you have to edit release version
and architecture variables in fedora.repo and rpmfusion, it takes some
time , but I can confirm it's working. Even a kid can do this, you are
probably spending money for nothing.
