Marcus and Omer, Thanks for your support! I was, of course, also quite discouraged with an offer to purchase codecs or send my system somewhere (that was a ridiculous, I cant believe they actually expected that someone from mail lists would fall for it) I also think that since I decided not to go and pay for windows license for my netbook and install linux - it should be possible to get media working without additional expense.
Thanks a lot for the links you sent, I'll try them out today and will get back to you with results. Marcus you finally got wifi working on your wind, right? :-) With regards, Oleg On Sat, Sep 5, 2009 at 10:40 AM, omer akram <om2...@gmail.com> wrote: > http://om26er.blogspot.com/2009/09/install-gstreamer-on-moblin-v2.htmlopen > this and folow the tutorial > > > On Sat, Sep 5, 2009 at 1:35 PM, Marcus Mae <maemar...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Hi, Oleg, >> >> To be honest, I'm very discouraged with an offer of purchasing codecs. >> Please, do not forget, Moblin is still Linux, therefore, there are >> millions of people that are playing music and video using freely >> available media players.
