Gergely,Attached is the HP USB Format tool I used to format the usb drive. Then I used the win32disk imager to copy the image to the drive. I also went into the BIOS at startup and changed the boot selection to use the USB first before the hard drive and it worked for me on my Aspire net. Hope this helps......

Hi,maybe someone can help me, as I'm spending the 2nd day trying to test drivemoblin on an eee pc 1000h, trying to boot from a maxell 4gb usb drive. everything is fine, I proceeded as described at the page, transferring the .img with win32disk imager to the empty, formatted usb. the netbook keeps booting win xp, as if nothing would've happened, not recognizing the drive. (it is in the correct slot, the machine recognizes it when plugged. now I think I understood that the drive must be bootable (i thought transferring the image with win32diskimager would do this automatically. the famous hp usb storage tool cannot be found anywhere. this is a lame problem i admit. maybe someone cares to help me. thanks in advance.
