there is a requirement I have in my clutter/mx UI application, which I
want to discuss with you.
What I want to do is as follows:
I have an application which I will start from my clutter/mx application with
fork/exec/... and will communicate with it via dbus.
The thing is, i would like to have this application as a submenu point and
show it and hide it when I want.
Therefore I would like to embed it in my clutter/mx application.
And this external application has GTK GUI.
So what I found out is that (theoretically) I can grab an instance via dbus
and would be than able to embedd it via clutter-gtk in my application.
The question is, is this a correct approach? Or should i rather use some
other one for this kind of work?
