Miguel,

I agree with you that the Maven 2 plugin landscape would do well to be
as thorough as possible in supporting the tools which are out there. And
I cannot pretend to know the criteria for including or excluding a
plugin, especially given how many plugins the maven 1 project includes.

If you would, please review the code to make sure it follows the
development guidelines layed out on the mojo and sites. Then submit a
JIRA ticket:
