Hi,
We have developped a new Mojo quite similar to the maven-changes-plugin.
Instead of using an xml file we are parsing the logs from subversion to
produce a changelog report.
It has been used internally at France Telecom (Orange now) and we would
like to release it as open source on Codehaus.
We have tried to add it to the maven-changes-plugin
(http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MCHANGES-78) but they think it is too
different from thier mojo to b packaged with it;
You can go to the jira issue to get an idea of the mojo results.
Great! I really dig it when companies realize that their support tools
are better off in the open.
However, using Maven SCM would be *very* useful as it will automatically
support all the SCMs that Maven SCM support. As you say, comments are
per commit in Subversion, but that is something that we can fix in the
library.
