Hi,
I would like to see some kind of change log in the plugin site (e.g.
reachable via the "Overview" menu) such that users can easily figure out if
they would benefit from a plugin update or if they need to watch out for
modified behavior.
So far, it seems quite no plugin (Apache as well as Mojo) offers such a
functionality. This makes me wonder whether there exists some general
agreement against release histories on the site?
If it would be OK, then my next question is how to realize this best? I
could use either the jira-report of the maven-changes-plugin or simply put a
hyperlink in the site menu that points directly into the JIRA "Change Log"
view. The later option might cause increased load on the JIRA server while
the first option does not provide a report as beauty as the JIRA view.
