Our lastest Mojo parent dates back to April and I believe enough good
things have summed up to justify a new release. Apart from various
plugin updates this will be the first release using the new artifact id
mojo-parent. The mailing list infos have been updated, PMD/Checkstyle
configurations are tuned (e.g. exclude generated stuff from checks),
breadcrumbs have been added to the site descriptor. Last but not least,
I just moved most of the reports into a dedicated "reporting" profile.
The intention is to speed up editing/reviewing of APT/XDoc/FML documents
by selectively disabling the expensive reports via
mvn site -D skipReports
This will only generate a few of the standard reports and the plugin
documentation (useful to check mojo parameter docs). For the plugin I
tested with, this accelerated the site generation by a factor of 8 and
brought it below 20 seconds.
Unlike things over at Apache, I opted to have the full report set run by
default just like good people run tests by default and disable them on
demand.
A snapshot has been deployed [0], please give it a try on your favorite
