Invalid GWT home reported for locally installed 2.0.0-rc1

When compiling against a local gwt-2.0.0-rc1 installation, an error message is
thrown:
Invalid GWT Home : /opt/gwt-2.0.0-rc1
Apparently GwtRuntime is looking for gwt-dev-{platform}.jar unconditionally (
http://svn.codehaus.org/mojo/trunk/mojo/gwt-maven-plugin/src/main/java/org/codehaus/mojo/gwt/GwtRuntime.java
, ) , and once I symlinked gwt-dev.jar to gwt-dev-linux.jar the compilation
was fine.
First of all, please support the new layout using a local install. Second of
all, please provide more detailed error messages from GwtRuntime, it would save
a lot of time.
