given my understanding of how GIT works, I think for the large number of small projects at mojo, it might not be a good fit (since afaik GIT works best when each repo is limited to a single project)

the bigger issue is mvn site-deploy

if we can find a quicker way than the current WebDAV as that is the biggest pain point for me at mojo
