Well, yes, using a new URLClassLoader is the general idea. I don't know the 
details of your case, for the APT plugin the issue was simply that Sun's APT 
impl is not embeddable, i.e. does not properly chain onto the existing class 
loader hierarchy, that's why it got kinda ugly.
