Christopher Hunt commented on MJS-46:
-------------------------------------
To release a -alpha requires that there be no snapshot dependencies as we use
the release plugin. :-)
Can you please state when you'd need something by i.e. what is your release
timeline? Please note that I'm up to my eyeballs in a project that also depends
on this so the next 4 weeks are looking quite tight already. Thanks.
> Would it be possible to freeze a release (2.0.0 ?) instead of SNAPSHOT
> version for javascript-maven-plugin

> Hello,
> In fact, it seems that there is not any release version for
> javascript-maven-tools / javascript-maven-plugin artefacts.
> This is a problem in companies like mine where Nexus/Maven policies,
> following the best practices, are to not depend on SNAPSHOT versions of
> 3rd-party libraries, for obvious reasons of build stability.
> As you can see, even for the 2.0 "release" (mentioned here :
> http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MJS/fixforversion/18220), there is no
> javascript-maven-plugin artefact in the Codehaus-Releases repository :
> while, of course, the 2.0.0-SNAPSHOT well exists in Codehaus-Snapshots :
> Thanks in advance.
> Best regards,
> Guillaume
