Description:

apt-maven-plugin should not add the date created comment to the eclipse settings files. This causes version control systems to show changes even when there are no real changes to the file. In looking through other settings files there is no timestamp comment with of the exception of m2eclipse settings files and I think these comments should be removed as well.
Anyway, not really a big deal but I think more consistent with the way these files should be.
