I am against deploying -SNAPSHOTs automatically... If you want my reasons I
will dig out the blog post where I provide them.

In short I think it is a bad practice that many fall into. For plugins we
should just publish manually if there is a need (eg verify fix from users
machine) otherwise we should cut a release
