Adding this
<updateManifestEntries>
<Dummy>dummy</Dummy>
</updateManifestEntries>
to my pom file will indeed add Dummy: dummy to all MANIFEST.MF files in the resulting war.
But after this the application won't start. I get the exception pasted below.
Removing the updateManifestEntries tag from pom.xml resolves the problem. Also I've tried to remove the line
jarUtil.setManifestEntries( updateManifestEntries );
from AbstractBaseJnlpMojo.java to see if the unpacking/repacking of the jar was at fault (without the line above the jar is unpacked, the manifest copied but not changed and the jar repacked again).
If the line is removed, the application works. But adding the line (and the tag) again, will disrupt the application.
What am I doing wrong!?
