Hi Jörg,
Hi Karl-Heinz,
No worries. I think the initial reason was to realize the idea of the consumer POM as originated for Maven Model 5.0.0.>>> I kept some of these informations but removed them after suggestionsfrom Robert. When did you suggested this?I do not want any finger-pointing and I did not suggested this from my wisdom foreseeing this trouble before. It was just on incidence that I had most of these required attributes in before... So what I was talking about is this discussion: http://markmail.org/message/wbbzjupqnnbn7w7dSorry if this could be misunderstood...i just want to know the reasons for doing so and to discuss the things here...nothing more (sorry for that).
That was IMHO the main driver for the decision. As we renamed the plugin and go for a pragmatical and explorative approach, we will focus on a solution that addresses the demands and needs maven users have today to do their work.
OK. I already guessed it :)Or is flatten-maven-plugin wrong or should at least offer an option to keep "OSS/project development info"?Sounds like so. I would suggest to make such option which leads to true by default.I will add such option. For the default I would like to hear Roberts opinion as well...That's why we are talking on this mailing list about this...
:)
Kind regards Karl-Heinz Marbaise
Cheers Jörg
