Dennis, For my edification: I know the spec implementation part of MyFaces depends only on 1.3, as it needs to. Are you saying that it's OK for other parts to depend on 1.4 or 1.5?
I ask specifically in reference to ADF Faces, which has extensive JDK 1.4 dependencies, and some small 1.5 dependencies. I've been wondering if I'd need to rip these out (and would rather not have to, but will if needed.)
