the reason for my question is, as Hookoom has pointed out, that you cannot use client side state saving on such sites due to the fact that many people accessing those do not have broadband, and server side state saving adds a lot of burden to the session due to exsessive state saving even in components which basically do not need it. Well not really a question, you can solve all those things with more cluster servers, but the question is more how much more overhead would it be in JSF than compared to stateless frameworks, I guess.
