Hi Guys,

I'm really glad to see the progress but we should not be discussing the TCK at all in a public list. The PMC list I think is OK but its better to just email each other.

Thanks for testing!

Let me know which libs you are packaging w/ myfaces (into each war). Also, are you getting one of these for each deployment?

I successfully did a mvn install from the BASE directory, and that built
everything.

Dennis, I'm trying to do the TCK testing too, so we can share our
experiences / problems. So far I ran into problems with the S1AS, which I think I have resolved now. The problem is now nothing answers on port 8080
anymore. Googling that now..

Can someone please tell me which versions of the project need to be tested together ? I am having difficulty getting anything to compile. "mvn
install" w/in each project base dir should be working, right ?

OK,

So there is red tape involved. You have to sign the NDA, and it has to
be
received by the ASF:
Probably not going to happen in your 3-day weekend, if I remember the timeframe. If you're still interested, contact me offline and I'll
send
you
the NDA link to get the process started. Otherwise it might be simpler
for
one of us who have already signed to do the TCK testing : ( sorry..

We have the code. Yes, we have permission :) I'm not 100% sure if it
is
for pmc's only, so I will ask that question immediately in the pmc
list. If
I get the go-ahead, I'll send you the TCK.

Does MyFaces have a permission to see the code, or just the
binary? Who
has the binary?

The MyFaces project has a licence.

Apparently one must obtain a license for the test suite. Did
he
have
one
for himself or one for the MyFaces project?
