No, this is no option, then a JSF-RI user has no chance at all to get
our stuff running.

Now, that Martin made MyFaces fully RI compatible we can go the
following way (I discussed it with Martin off list, though, we are open
for comments anyway ;-) )

* add the validation stuff to t:form
* add a single tag which adds the validation stuff if one didn't use
t:form but h:form or trinidad:form

So, one can have the comfort of t:form OR use the tag, so we can provide
maximum flexibility.

Yes, please, lets bring together client-validation and converter in
sandbox - we can use the convertNumber to test our stuff and then move
it to tomahawk - there is no pressure of time, is it?
I'll try to do more work for the converter during the next week, maybe
starting tomorrow. Did you look at the converter interface proposal?
