So I think the real issue is more with the current JSF 1.1 users. It might be rude to switch to JSF 1.2 so fast after the first release, but I wonder if there's "good time" at all for this kind of action. Personally, I don't see any so I think the sooner the better as less harm will be done.
there will be releases like 1.1.6 as well. so, just "switching", was the idea of our discussions in the past, not stopping myfaces 1.1.x. I am -1 on that ;-) -Matthias
