BTW, for anyone that hasn't read this ridiculously long and dumb thread, feel free to hit delete.
I think the best thing is for me to shut up and just start committing fixes to the bugs that have been open for a long time instead of making any criticism against the community. Sorry for all the trouble, and being hurtful to any members of the community (FYI, if anyone thinks this reply is in reaction to anyone sending me an email, it is not, I really do think that I should not have sent the email). -Andrew
