Hi everybody,

1. Alpha release

I would like to have an alpha release for the actual trunk.
Basically to track changes in JIRA.
E. g. for the Layout Management, which is written completely new,
there are some open issues, but I can't set a "Affects Version" in JIRA in the moment.

When we do alpha release every few weeks, the progress will be more transparent.

The alpha releases will only affect JIRA and Subversion.
There is no need to release it into the maven repository,
because there are still alpha (subject of change, unstable, ...).
So I assume, there is not need to vote for it.

2. Version number

I prefer the version number 1.5.x instead of 1.1.x for the trunk.
This would emphasize the lot of changes inside this release.

By the way: A next version of Tobago with full JSF 2.0 support should be 2.0.x

3. Compatibility

Tobago 1.5.x supports JSF 1.2 and JSF 1.1. Because of the changes in JSF, we
need to have two different versions of Tobago 1.5.x. The normal one
supports JSF 1.2 and a version called 1.5.x-jsf-1.1 which is compatible to JSF 1.1.

The actual planning can be observed here:

Please let me know, if you have any comments or suggestions about that.

Regards,

Udo
