Thanks

Hi Mamallan,

Are the mobile XSS files you are referring to the ones in Trinidad src code or are they external?

Hi Jeanne,

I don't foresee any issue with mobile, of course, mobile XSS files do have a lot of styles rendered specifically for a platform and a browser. But with new CSS rules like @agent, versions and platform along with upcoming @import feature, I believe we can successfully convert XSS to CSS.

Thanks

Hi,

I am working on converting the all the skinning XSS files to CSS in Trinidad. TRINIDAD-1043 Convert legacy XSS files to CSS

Over the past years various developers have been adding all the features that were missing in the CSS format (like @agent, -tr-property-ref, etc). We have the @import feature left to do. Once that is done, we are ready to convert the legacy XSS files, like base-desktop.xss to CSS.

My question is, will this have any adverse effect on anyone? Those working on mobile, is it ok with you?

Thanks,
Jeanne
