All I need is some patience, since I will be able to work on it a little
bit friday and intensively next monday. Before I am simply bound by
other stuff.
Again I am sorry for missing this one.
I already did a preliminary analysis, it comes down to a strange way
richfaces calls the response. I am not yet sure if the error is on our
side of not allowing an empty context being passed down or on their side.
Either way, this needs to be fixed one way or the other.

I'm not very familiar with the JS in MyFaces. I've seen other similar
issue with RichFaces fileUpload and MyFaces but there still seems to
be an issue here.
