Ok seems there is interest, I will backport the fix to the latest
myfaces stable on friday and then will attach the patch for the stable
to the issue. I will be able to finish this either on friday, or monday
next week. For now you can start to test with the latest head if the fix
has fixed the issue sufficiently.

I was able to nail down the issue and fix it. Nevertheless whether
Richfaces breaks the spec or not. 4.1 has fixed it and there as a bug
introduced by me, my fix now enables richfaces 4.0s file upload component.
I will add a regression testcase to our testsuite on apache extras so
that it wont happen again.

I already did a preliminary analysis, it comes down to a strange way
richfaces calls the response. I am not yet sure if the error is on our
side of not allowing an empty context being passed down or on their side.
Either way, this needs to be fixed one way or the other.
