Here is a quick status quo for the release:

**The blocking items at this point are**:
1. INFRA tickets for creating a "myriad" folder for the release archives
(@Mentors: your help is highly appreciated)

2. Moving the com.ebay namespace to org.apache
(Time for Jim's vim magic again!)

**Other important actions**
1. Incoming PRs:
No major features. Just bug fixes/improvements. It will be good to
review
and merge as many of them as possible (while we wait for the INFRA
tickets to be resolved).

2. Close JIRAs appropriately once the corresponding PRs are merged in.

3. Try out the latest and greatest code from the 'master' branch and report
in
any blocking issues/concerns. We want to address them sooner and avoid
surprises once the vote is called for.

Thanks,
Santosh
