I'd propose to start back at the 1.1.5. Why? because the 1.1.5 is the last 1.1.x to include new features: it won't be just a bugfix release because it will include the add-on to read the new OASIS OpenDocument format.
i believe the codenames died because almost nobody used them.
i see a point in resurrecting the codenames *only* if we will start using them (on the front page, on release notes etc.), otherwise is wasted effort.
