c) could be "only disadvantages" as well.

* no threading when browsing the archives
* sorting by subject/author/by thread is done alphabetically and there
  is no way to limit the display to a certain timeframe or filter the
  list in any way.
* searching the archives is very limited and unreliable (wrong results,
  different arguments cannot be combined properly)
* when things break it takes years to have it fixed (text-search for
  german-lang archieves is still not available

has been filed on Jul 27 but is still not fixed.

The MailingList-Archives is the part that sucks the most on OOo.

No. There are no good reasons to switch. There are only reason why you
sould not switch.
