Then it would be exactly the same situation that we have today. Notice, I said that you could still change language. I make no claim that this would automaticaly give the right language to everyone. But what I'm saying is that it would give the right language to *more* people than what we are serving *today*. I don't mean it's perfect, I mean it's *better*. Also, we don't have to cover all languages. If we just cover the "big ones" we will be serving most people. More importantly, we will be serving more people better than we are today. And if the language is not recognized, the page defaults to English. So in those cases, the page behaves just the same way that it does today. Nothing lost. You see what I'm trying to say? We don't need to wait for anyone. If no one provides other language versions of the page, that's ok, it just means that the page works the same way that it works today. But every time one of the NL groups comes and gives us a localized version of a page, then people from that locale will now be more likely to get a page that is already in your language. It's a simple and beautiful system. It always gets better with more submissions. It never gets worse. The absolute worst it can do is... just the same as what we have today.
