Hi all 1. I have made a made a minor build with some mostly used strings translated. It worked but have noticed that some of the strings have been chopped off at the end. I have learned that it cannot be avoided. But unfortunately Malayalam translations cannot be shortened either. So my question is what does the width field in the extracted file (using command localize) exactly stand for? Is it max no of bytes or max no of individual characters no matter what the language?
2. What is the use of bringing a language to the languages list in Options - Languages? How can I list Malayalam there? (I have tried the procedure given in the web page 'Adding a New Language to the Office Suite' - Step 1: Add the new Language to the Resource System.) 3. The unicode for Malayalam is incomplete and it lacks 5 important letters. It can be defined otherwise but it would be difficult for people to digest it easily. These letters are called 'Chillukal' and forms highly used letters. What should I do? (Help of Indic groups are also seeked to this) 4.
