Needless to say that this bug causes havoc for our danish users but this affects all locales using . as thousands separator
Apparently, it is some kind of feature that Calc recognises the pasted HTML value of 1.000 as 1 when using a locale with . as thousands separator. I have been asked to gather votes for this bug, so if you consider 1.000 to equal 1000 when using . as thousands separator, please visit the bug report and cast your vote. Please inform your community as well.
I have checked which locales use . as thousands separator and , as decimal. Here are the bugged locales:
