Thank for this information. It helps me get more background on this topic.

All right then. If the ISO code for Macedonian language is mk, then,
there is no problem at all. All I wanted to know was to know how the
situation was and if there was an ISO code for Macedonian.

Please Vladimir, I didn't mean no harm to you nor to the Macedonian
culture and country. I had heard about this controversy and didn't know
all the details. Here in Paris, I once opened an atlas and at the
chapter of the Balkanic region, Macedonia was denominated "Skopje
(FYROM)". So I had some reasons questioning not your project but the
name issue. Besides, our greek friends (http://el.openoffice.org) do not
seem to have a problem with all this, judging by their silence.
You are highly welcome Vladimir, you and the Macedonian community in the
NLC, please be sure of that.
For convenience though, I'd like however to point you out to the L10N
project because they will take less time registering you than here.
What is needed for the NLC is the following:
your OOo username and your registration to the NLC
domain name: mk (that will be http://mk.openoffice.org)
a signed and sent/faxed copy of the JCA : see here:
http://www.openoffice.org/FAQs/faq-licensing.html#usinglicenses
and here: http://www.openoffice.org/licenses/jca.pdf

As soon as I'll get your OOo username, I'll file the issue for opening
the project, but it will stand in a queue. Please be patient! Meanwhile,
I suggest you read carefuly http://native-lang.openoffice.org its uses,
how to upload your ssh keys, our guidelines, etc.
+1 for the Macedonian Native-Lang Project!

Best,
Charles-H. Schulz.
