Yes! I very much like that font and am using this font now for a couple
of years. Very nice italics, but unfortunately no dedicated bold
version....

They indicated in the mail you forwarded that they intend to "oflify"
Gentium along with Doulos SIL (which is another great font, esp. when
you need greek/cyrillic or IPA symbols) and some others.

SIL Fonts *rock* :-) - Especially for those languages that are
not-so-wide-spread (in terms of high-quality fonts).

Wheny you're into bible studies/hebrew, then have a look at Ezra SIL.

Regarding the proposed license, I cannot find anything that would
conflict with OOo. As I personally don't care too much about the DFSG,
it is perfectly OK for me that the license forbids selling the font (or
derivates) itself (or in font-collections). It doesn't restrict selling
of a bundle like OOo as a whole and that is what counts for me.

I'm looking forward to it...
