Hi,

My name is Rubén da Silva, I'm from Galicia , a region in the northwest of Spain, with ownlanguage (Galician is a Latin derived language, brother of Castillian-Spanish and Portuguese) and i would like to continue the Galician project started but not responsible person exposed in localization project (Code 38, ISO: gl).

The idea is start the Native-Language Project that is inexistent, and continue the i10n project to coordinate the two projects.

There are a great number of developers involved in Openoffice.org localization to galician, but they are disgregated in some groups (galego21.org, trasno.net, ceibe.sourceforge.net, cesga.es) whitout any type of coordination, and discontinously develop and support of Openoffice.org galician versions.

I propose coordinate all this yet existent groups in an Openoffice.org unique Native-Language Project using my time and agenda because many of this people i personally knows, and other who could be interested.

My null contribution to Openoffice.org projects could be a problem for the decision of open the new Galician project as i request, but i must to say that i'm very familiarized with opensource dev. working teams, cvs and coordination foreing developers groups via mail, because i'm a professional freelance programmer and Debian developer.

Sincerely yours,

Rubén da Silva
