although the personal attacks and rants of persons not belonging to the
NLC are not so frequent here, and even rare, actually, the message of
Jacqueline McNally, lead of the Marketing project is excellent and
clear. Her explanations will also apply on the NLC list from now on.
(I'm not targeting anybody in particular here).

In recent weeks ad hominem attacks have occurred on other OpenOffice.org
community lists, and just recently here. This is to advise there will be
zero tolerance of any future posts such as these. Offending subscribers
will be unsubscribed without notice.

Previously I sent out information about various email lists of interest
to marketing.

This message is to remind people about our "Mailing Lists - Guidelines",
see: http://www.openoffice.org/ml_guidelines.html

Please, in any discourse, tackle the topic under discussion or
consideration, not the person.

Some of you may be unaware that people that post to this list (among

a list that they think is most appropriate for their message - not
always an easy task. Many more are not subscribed and read this using
newsgroups such as Gmane.

Please remember that we are all *real* people on the other end of these
keyboards.
