My message was not giving notice, which is why I began my message with
"In recent weeks ad hominem attacks have occurred on other
OpenOffice.org community lists, and just recently here.". Notice was
given publically on discuss@
(http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=discuss&msgId=2284043).

Even when you're promoting a zero-tolerance politic regarding this topic, there must be at least a call to obey the rules before someone is kicked. Especially when one is banned without notice.


this is, what the discussion at the Council actually is about. Project leads *do* have the option to unsubscribe list members, but not without notice.
