As far as I know, Evan Brown is the leader of the Scottish Gaelic (gd) project, this is the one that was funded by LT Scotland. I am the leader of the (completely unfunded) Irish Gaelic (ga) project. We are still very much active, though going slowly at the moment. Even without knowing the exact status of the Scottish Gaelic project, I don't see the value in shutting it down -- it is a fact of life that projects undertaken in support of languages with very few speakers will be chronically shorthanded. If it takes 6 months, a year, or more to find someone willing to update the translation for 2.0+, or if necessary to apply for funding to do so, so be it.
