Sure.

I'm sorry I can't understand what you mean.

Sorry. I wrote misleading expression, DTP.
Other competitive office suites (Word, Ichitaro...), and drawing softwares
supports Hagaki size by default.

# Ichitaro is one of the most popular office suite in Japan.

That depends.

I cannot find such English rules.

iv.
Following listed images are top sides of major types of Hagaki.

 * Normal

 * Echo

They differ in the size of the area to write address as you see.

 * Sender's address (it's not necessary in a top side)
 * Company name (it's necessary if we send postcards to our clients)
 * Business title (it's necessary if we send postcards to our boss or
   clients.
 * horizontal writing or vertical
 * etc... (too many to mention here)

I think so too.
The most important point is whether OOo supports such functions as standard
functions. They can also help marketing to spread OOo in Japan. People may
show interest in a notice, "OOo, the greatest Office Suite, supports
writing Hagaki" :->

Now I'm trying to invent such functions as an addon with Java.
If the addon is nice, I will contribute it to integrate.
