"Linguistic tools" is the English collective name the copyright holders chose for the project which takes care of providing writing aids for the Italian language to several free and open source programs, including OpenOffice.org. Their home page is at http://sourceforge.net/projects/linguistico/ We are going to ask for inclusion of two items produced by this group: a dictionary for the language it_IT and a thesaurus for the same language. > Sorry, I don't think we are able to provide this deadline. > The initial legal review does not depend on the availability of the > final version of the dictionary. We couldn't get a unanimous agreement yet. A few of them were going to agree only if we assured them that their products will be included in OOo 2.1. Talks have taken 31 days so far, and they will take a few more days. It would be much better, in order to prioritize volunteers' work, to have reliable deadlines for everything, including occasional issues like this one. But we will file an issue and notify this list as soon as we are ready.
