I'm very happy to see that you learned something while on vacation. Most
tourists don’t.
Sorry to hear that the prices here were high. Hopefully they will do
something here to bring the prices lower.

I don't think you will get that happening here much. Most hotels here have
natives in their staff. ;-)

Homework was finding a vacation spot. I ended up choosing Aruba because of
two things price and time. While there, shortly after Aruba was granted
independent status within the Netherlands, I learned some things about the
islands. Curaçao was in the running but at the time had only one
all-inclusive resort and it was pricey compared to those on Aruba.

I evan learned to say hello, goodbye and thankyou in Papiemnento even though
most of the staff at the resort were Venezuelan  :-)
