I can see increasing number of users that get burned by one scam site
which asks for pay SMS for each installation in the modified installer. 

Here is the infor from the site:

> 2.2. Prior to accessing the Service, the user shall send one SMS to
> the short number. Afterwards, the Company shall send a one sms to the
> user's mobile phone providing one access code 

The site address is "download - scam! - office dot com" and it says it
is operated by "Libela GestiĆ³n SMS Limited". They even provide localized
page content.

How do you fight these and communicate with your users so they do not
have negative first impressions about OpenOffice.org?
