Don't underestimate the persistence of legacy code. There are maybe
millions of lines of Ant out there.

I can appreciate this, 1) as an Ant user who finds Maven overkill, and 2)
as someone who makes his living maintaining legacy systems, sometimes
touching code over 40 years old.

Jaroslav is probably correct, so by all means, do make NB's generator favor
Maven, if that's the community sentiment.

Keep in mind that, most likely, Ant isn't going to fade into the shadows of
software development history before NetBeans itself fades thither.
