Hello,
I would like to propose to release 12.4 Beta of VSNetBeans on VScode
Marketplace.

The reason for this is there are significant changes like added Micronaut
support, extended CPP lite module which allows to debug GraalVM Native images
and many other improvements. Release of this will allow other extensions which
depend on NetBeans VSIX to use it and also support these new features. This
will lead to better testing and quality of VSNetBeans for 12.4 final bits.

If there is a Beta showstopper for VSNetBeans 12.4 Beta then it should not go
to Marketplace of course.

Version number of 12.4 Beta VSIX should be something like 12.3.990 so when 12.4
final bits are released then VSIX can also be on version 12.4.0. VSCode does
not support versions like “12.4.0-Beta”.

What others think about this proposal?

And BTW, VSNetBeans is getting traction and positive reviews, users like it
over other Java support ext

I believe this will be even better after 12.4 when projects handling in
VSNetBeans will be extended to better work in VSCode which is projectless IDE.

Thank you,
Martin
